This short film was shot in eastern Turkey, on the shores of the country's largest lake. In the place where I was born and grew up, political and social conditions often force people to leave their homes. A longing for their homeland and a strong bond with it draw them back. The film reflects on belonging, distance and the connection we build with the journey between departure and return.
